The Absolens 30” share the same body as the regular Absolens. Only the neck is 4” shorter .

That Bass began as a personnal challenge: to build a bass with a full  sonic spectrum , that could take place on a guitar bag . But as if the challenge was not enough, i decided to make the first prototype from old, wormy woods : an old spruce blank full of wormholes and an oak board from a staircase over 50 years old, with rusty stips.

After i plugged the ABSOLENS 30”  for the first time, i knew i managed that challenge. My first thought was : “What the Fuck ??? Who needs a long scale bass ?”  ( I’m sure your back agrees with this opinion ! ).

But what was really frightening  is that the growl, the richness of sound was not impacted by this 4” less Bass.

Alright,  that was only my own review (everyone knows that the maker’s point of vue can not be totally objective  !).

The real bass players who try the Absolens 30” are impressed by the responsiveness of that bass and the fullness of the sound, ( no low end lost ). And what makes me pride is that the Absolens 30” i put on hands of bass players is  the prototype #1 (the eco friendly one,  mentionned above : a 5 string fretless freak  ).

So, if you are adventurous , or if you need an other musical savor, the Absolens 30” will be your next bass.

And if you’re not a faint-hearted person, you should choose the protototype #1 specs : 30” scale / 5 string / Fretless (with a 27 frets long fretboard!) / Alternative or Defective woods.

Chances are you will not be invisible and unheard on stage ! Now , bassists will have no more excuses to jump on stage.
