C-Uk is the COZUNO’s Ukulélé model.

C-Uk is a Concert scale Uke.

Why a concert sized Ukulélé ?

. Coz’ to my point of player’s view,  a Soprano is much more of a toy (who can play hours on a Soprano neck without hand fatigue ?)  and lacks lot of power and sustain

. And even so a Tenor scaled Uke has more volume , sustain, and dynamics , i think it is too big to perpetuate the original purpose of the ukulélé.

One of the two principal goals behind the COZUNO’s C-Uk , is to offer a Concert ukulélé with plenty of volume, sustain, and dynamics who could easily compete with a good tenor uke in a band format.

The second goal of the C-Uk is to offer a descent neck profil  ( understand : hands friendly for adult and children).

For all that reasons, all of the COZUNO’s C-Uk are handmade in my workshop using the best all solid tonewoods.

To achieve such ambitious goals, every C-Uk has  handcarved and scalloped bracings not generally found on Ukulélés.

When  you think C-Uk, you should think Concert Classical Guitar Construction ( fan bracing, bone nut…)  with modern acoustical appointements like dovetail neck joint , radiused top and back, radiused fingerboard …
